Introduction
The booking module allows you to create new reservations for vehicles that will be available to users. It will enable businesses to use vehicles rationally by reducing their number of vehicles, optimizing vehicle usage and rest time.
Notifications
The Carsharing app sends out booking notifications to Drivers. The notifications can be sent for new bookings, and/or any modifications made to existing bookings.
Operations
Carsharing users can edit, cancel, end or extend the bookings depending on the booking statuses. You can operate all these functions from the Booking module web console or the Carsharing APP.
Carsharing app
The Carsharing App allows creating new reservations for vehicles available to Users. It allows organizations to use vehicles rationally by reducing their amount and optimizing vehicle usage and rest time.
Organisation set up
To successfully set up Carsharing and Booking, fleet admins are required to complete some organization settings. These settings will determine how the system searches and presents available vehicles and other automated operations on the bookings.
Roles
Carsharing customers can create custom Roles from the web console.
Vehicle set up
Fleet Complete Administrators must set-up vehicles for their organization to start using the Carsharing. It is possible to define custom vehicle groups for example, vehicle type or any other attribute that you might need in your organization.
Immobilizer set up
The Immobilizer’s primary role is to ensure that only an authorized driver uses an assigned vehicle. Immobilizer should be disabled when a vehicle is in motion and enabled when the vehicle is at rest or not
Lock or unlock vehicle
Carsharing Customers can Lock and Unlock their vehicles from the web console or the Carsharing App remotely. Lock and unlock buttons need to be configured to appear in the Web console and the App.
Recurring bookings
Carsharing customers can create Recurring booking from the web console. For example, the user can make a recurring booking from February 15th at 5 pm that occurs every Monday.
Booking approval
If the company wants someone to approve the vehicle bookings before they take place, this feature is for them. Each vehicle can be associated with person’s name responsible for that vehicle, who can approve or deny any potential vehicle bookings.
