Carsharing Immobilizer setup

The Immobilizer's primary role is to ensure that only anauthorized driver uses an assigned vehicle. Immobilizer should be disabled when a vehicle is in motion and enabled when the vehicle is at rest or not moving. Carsharing Customers will be able to change the Immobilizer settings.

To access the Immobilizer settings, please follow the steps below:

Log in to FC Plus.
Select the Settings module at the top.
Click on the vehicle tab under the settings module.
Select the vehicle from the list on the left-hand side.
On the right-hand side, select the Booking tab.
Scroll down to locate the Immobilizer drop-down men

Immobilizer setup

There are three types of Immobilizer settings that you can choose from the Immobilizer drop-down, which are as follows:

Immobilizer Off
Automatic
Outside Booking

By default, the Immobilizer setting is set up as Not controlled. This indicates that the server does not control the Immobilizer.

Immobilizer Off: The Immobilizer is not in use.

To apply the settings, please follow the steps below:

Select Immobilizer off from the drop-down.
Click on the Save button
Automatic: The device will turn on the Immobilizer automaticallv.

The Immobilizer will automaticallv activate X seconds after the ignition is turned OFF (range 30 seconds - 600).

Users can configure time in the range of 0.5 to 5 minutes.

To apply the settings, please follow the steps below:

Select Automatic from the drop-down.
Enter the time in seconds within the range.
Click on the Save button

3. Outside Booking: The Immobilizer is deactivated throughout the valid booking. When the booking starts, Immobilizer will be disabled, and When the booking ends, the Immobilizer wi be enabled.

To apply the settings, please follow the steps below:

Select Outside booking from the drop-down.
Click on the Save button
