The Fleet Complete RFID card Reader is an accessory that you can use with different telematic devices.
The primary purpose of the RFID Reader is to identify vehicle users and allow them to define private and business trips.
The RFID scanning card allows you to monitor who is operating a vehicle.
- When a driver presents their RFID card to the Reader, Fleet Complete associates the driver to the vehicle's asset for the duration of its operation.
- It is a single driver solution; however, you can use multiple RFID cards on the vehicle in the case of carsharing.
In this manual we will discuss the overview of the RFID reader, the Business and Private switch of the RFID reader and its set-up.
The hardware The RFID kit includes an RFID card, also known as Driver Identification cards, given to each driver in your fleet and the RFID card reader placed on the vehicle. The vehicles must be equipped with an RFID Card Reader connected to the device using the proper harness. The RFID Card Reader has two LED's that provide certain information to you about the vehicle. There is one led in the red button and one led in the centre of the RFID Reader.
