FCPlus KPI module
A key Performance Indicator (KPI) is a quantifiable metric that reflects how well an organization is achieving its goals and objectives. Fleet Complete KPI module enables monitoring the organization’s most important indicators (such as fuel usage, driving distance, etc.) and getting a good and quick overview of them. It is much easier and more effective than observing and comparing the reports' data.
KPI module overview
The KPI module screen consists of a section with KPIs that were created within your organization and allows you to set KPIs that suits your organization goals.
The refresh button in the upper right corner above the main view refreshes the data. You can easily change KPI positions by simply dragging and dropping them in KPI main screen.
List of KPI types that you can add to the KPI module to monitor goals and objectives:
Driving duration (h) – it shows the driving duration in hours.
Idling duration (h) – it shows the idling duration in hours.
Stopped duration (h) – it shows how long the selected vehicle has been stopped in hours.
Idle duration percentage (%) – this parameter shows idling duration in percentage.
Green driving all events (e/100km) – It allows you to see the number of harsh accelerations, brakings, and cornerings per 100 km.
Green driving excessive cornerings (e/100km) - It shows the amount of excessive cornerings.
Green driving excessive accelerations (e/100km) – It shows the total amount of excessive harsh accelerations per 100 km.
Green driving excessive brakings (e/100km) - It shows the amount of harsh excessive braking per 100 km.
Total fuel usage (l) –shows the amount of used fuel in liters.
Driving fuel usage (I) – It shows the amount of fuel used during driving in liters.
Idling fuel usage (I) –It shows the amount of used fuel during idling in liters.
Active reminders -it shows the number of active reminders.You can find more information about reminders, in Reminders manual.
Events (events) – it shows the total amount of events.You can find more information about events, in Events manual.
Events (e/100km) -it shows the total amount of events per 100 km.
Cost per distance (EUR/100km) –it shows the cost per 100 km and calculates it based on the data from the Expenses module.You can find more information about Expenses module, in Expenses manual.
Fuel per distance (l/100km) - itshows the fuel consumption per 100 km.
Green driving all events by drivers (e/100km) – It allows you to see the total amount of harsh accelerations, brakings, and corneringsper 100 km by selected drivers.
Green driving excessive brakings by drivers (e/100km) - It shows the amount of harsh excessive brakingsby selected drivers per 100 km.
Green driving excessive cornerings by drivers (e/100km) - It shows the amount of excessive corneringsby selected drivers per 100 km.
Completed tasks per driver (e) - It shows the amount of completed tasks by driver. You can find more information about tasks, in Tasks manual.
Ecofleet driver score () – it allows us to see drivers' behavior on the road.
Speed limit violations 10-20 km/h (pc) – It shows the limit violations by 10-20 km/h.
Speed limit violations more than 20 km/h (pc) – it shows the limit violations by more than 20 km/h
Driving distance (km) – it shows the driving distance in kilometers.
How to configure a new KPI?
To create a new KPI, please follow the steps below:
- Open the KPI module.
- Click on Add button at the top of the section.
- Pop-up window will appear on the screen.
- Choose the KPI type from the dropdown list.
- Enter KPI parameters that are important for you.
- Click on the Save button.
Please find the description of the settings below:
KPI type - is the indicator of data that you would receive.
Period - the period for which the information will be shown. We suggest you use the Last 7 days or the Last 30 days period because then it doesn't matter when you check KPIs.
Calculation method - allows you to choose a calculation method (sum, average, maximum, or minimum) for the selected KPI.
Quantifiable minimum and maximum ranges – to measure the selected KPI type you can add quantifiable ranges, where A is a good result and C is a bad result.
Vehicles that are being observed – this parameter allows you to choose for which vehicle you will get KPI. You can choose between all vehicles, vehicles by groups, and individual vehicles.
How to edit an existing KPI type?
If you need to make changes to an existing KPI type, please follow the steps below:
- Click on the triangle in the right corner of the KPI type you need to make changes.
- Click on the Edit button in the right-bottom corner.
- Pop-up window will appear on the screen.
- Make changes to KPI parameters.
- Click on the Save button.
How to delete KPI?
If you need to delete an existing KPI, please follow the steps below:
- Click on the triangle in the right corner of the KPI type you need to delete.
- Click on the Delete button in the left-bottom corner.
How to create an event KPI?
If you need to create an event KPI, it should be configured separately. You can measure the number of events or events per 100 km (e/100km).
Please follow the next steps to create an event KPI:
- Go to the Settings module and open the Events tab.
- Set configurations for a new Event and click on the Save button.
- Return to the KPI module.
- Click on Add button to create a new KPI.
- Choose Events or Events (e/100km) from the drop down list.
- Set configurations for Events KPI and click onthe Save button.
How to check best / worst results?
If you need to check the results, you can open the KPI graph (the time range is always 3 months whichever period is set for measuring). If you only wish to view the best/worst you can easily exclude the average by checking the box “Show only best/worst”.
