FCPlus Events module
The Events module allows you to get real-time notifications on important events that are triggered by your vehicles. You can also review the history of these activities to analyze trends.The conditions and threshold points of these events are customizable from the platform.
The primary purpose of the Events module is:
- To get real-time notifications of essential activities with vehicles in your organization.
- To review the history of events to conclude the trends.
Events module the main view
The Events module's main screen consists of two sections:
- The "Events List" on the left-hand side. 2. The "Map Area" on the right-hand side.
The Events list displays all the triggered Events in an organization for the specified time frame. The Map Area displays the exact geographical location of the triggered event on the map.
The events list
The left-hand side section of the Events module displays a list of all the prompt events for the chosen period. Click on the Load events Button in the events List to view the desired events List.
Once you select a time frame, all the events triggered during the time frame is displayed in the list below and includes the following information:
- The Vehicle Name
- The Event Name
- Time of the Event
Click the drop-down arrow on the "Load events" button to load events from the predefined periods in the system.
At the top of this section are the Events Search fields. You can search for the desired triggered events from the search field in the Events list.
You can view the following columns for each event under the search columns:
- ID: ID of the event.
- Vehicle: Name of the vehicle which triggered the event.
- Duration: The length of time the event was active.
- Time: The time when the event took place.
- Distance: Distance covered by the event.
- Group: Area group of the event.
- Driver: Driver of the vehicle associated with the event.
Note: Generally, you will have only some columns visible. However you can add columns as per your requirements.
Below the events list, several tracking related options are displayed, including:
- Fit to screen
- Open Track
Fit to screen: The fit to screen button resizes the map to display all the areas on the map area. Open Track: This feature allows users to view the trail of the selected vehicle throughout a specific period.
On the right-hand side of the tracking options, you can find opportunities to:
- Export events in excel.
- Export events list as pdf.
- Print the Events list.
The Map area
The Map area of the Events modules displays all selected events from the Event's List.
You can select an event; the application locates that event on the map to the right side and represents an orange point. You must Zoom in and out of the map to view Events on the map.Click on any triggered event on the map to review more information about the event.
You can review details like:
- Rule: Type of the condition.
- Area: The name of the area about which the event was activated.
- Time: The time when the event took place.
- Duration: The length of time the event was active.
Hierarchy in Events module
The events module supports hierarchy limitations on the driver level. If a user has hierarchy access to a vehicle and some drivers, the user will see events pertaining to the vehicle only when driven by drivers whom the user is allowed to see.
